The attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload, including Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial. The candidate must be an active member of the Washington State Bar and possess excellent legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide legal representation to clients, presenting facts in writing and verbally to their party, and arguing on their behalf.
2. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
3. Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal.
4. Handle diverse caseload, including Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial.
5. Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems.
6. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
7. Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
8. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
9. Supervise legal assistants and junior attorneys.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation.
3. Active member of the Washington State Bar.
4. Proven experience with Tort Litigation, Employment Litigation, School Law, Civil Rights, Regulatory matters, Discovery, Depositions, Motions, and Trial.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
