I2X Technologies is seeking a System Adminstator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. 

  • Performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
  • Provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks.
  • Document and report all events/issues and receive tasking and direction for all operations, test & real world events.
  • Assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI Preferred
  • Entry-level to experienced, but still a learner typically with an advanced degree and 0-1+ year experience or bachelors degree and 0-3+ years experience or equivalent
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
  • Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
  • Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
  • Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper).
  • Sound background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience and knowledge of Missile Defense Systems

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
