Job description

A24 is seeking a Junior Awards Specialist to join the Publicity team based in our LA office for the upcoming awards season. This is temporary position and will go from early August to early March. This person will be a motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking, communication, and organization with 2 - 5 years of professional experience in Film PR and/or Awards.
Initial Responsibilities:
  • Manage FYC e-blasts and screening invites, including coordinating with designers, fulfillment houses and guilds/awards organizations
  • Manage DVD awards screeners, including coordinating with internal teams on production and design, and with external teams on approvals, fulfillment and distribution
  • Manage digital awards screeners set up, including coordinating with internal and external teams on spec requirements, assets and approvals
  • Coordinate FYC website content, including managing assets, materials, and screening information
  • Provide support for craft guild submissions, working with internal team and submissions agency to compile required information and assets
  • Coordinate seating and assets for craft guild award shows, working with internal teams and the directly with the guilds on all needs
  • Support the team at screening events and help manage RSVP trackers as needed
  • Have an awareness and understanding of awards rules and campaign regulations

Qualifications:
  • 2 - 5+ years of professional experience in Film PR and/or Awards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable and proactive, with extreme attention to detail
  • Social, humble, diligent, resourceful and enthusiastic team player

Our target compensation range for this position is between $4,500 and $7,500 per month. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels.
