Job description

Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a top-tier healthcare technology organization based in Morrisville, NC . This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with deep expertise in .NET , JavaScript frameworks , and cloud platforms , who can lead development efforts on a modern Azure-based microservices architecture . This is a Contract-to-Hire position requiring on-site presence 3 days per week in Raleigh, NC .
Responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer:
  • Lead end-to-end development using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and React, delivering scalable and maintainable software solutions.
  • Provide architectural direction and technical leadership on complex initiatives, driving innovation and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives, set technical standards, and support strategic planning and execution.
  • Analyze system performance and implement optimizations to enhance scalability and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices to uphold code quality standards.
Qualifications of the Senior Software Engineer:
  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 3+ years in a senior engineering role focused on .NET and JavaScript technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience building cloud-native applications on Azure or AWS, with familiarity in services like Blob Storage.
