Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products.  Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.   

What You Will Do

  • Lead electrical development for DVT integration, qualification, and Transition to Production (TTP) activities. 
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure task execution and technical excellence. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design, testing, integration, and production challenges. 
  • Support design reviews, project coordination, risk management, supplier engagement, and compliance efforts. 
  • Perform system integration, verification, qualification testing, and data analysis to ensure requirements are met. 
  • Communicate results, risks, and technical data to leadership, customers, and stakeholders. 
  • Mentor junior engineers and maintain a productive team environment. 
  • Ensure team resources align with program goals and track progress to meet deadlines. 
  • Travel: <25% annually; Shift: 1st shift, onsite.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience with any of the following: RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing, debugging, failure investigations. Knowledge of FPGA integration and implementation preferred.
  • Production engineering experience involving design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting of missile hardware including systematic problem solving, failure investigations or Root Cause and Corrective Action.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills creating and presenting technical content to cross-functional peers, leaders, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent.
  • Production process knowledge of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystems; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and supplier/sub-tier supplier support.
  • Effective organization, emotional intelligence, etc.
  • Systems thinking, strong problem solving in alignment with the OCE.
  • Technical support experience of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
  • Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices.
  • Experience with Software/Firmware languages; Python, C, Basis, Java, VHDL, Verilog.
  • Leadership of technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support.
  • Certification for Basis of Estimate generation.
  • Certification for Earned Value Management.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
