Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer
Job Location: Hartford, CT
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Design develops configure and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter components using GOSU and Guidewire Studio
  • Implement and enhance regional state specific insurance rules including rating logic underwriting rules forms and validations
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate functional and regulatory requirements into technical designs
  • Configure PolicyCenter Rating module components rate books rate tables rate routines
  • Review offshore development deliverables across PCF business rules and data model changes
  • Support production issues defect analysis and root cause resolution
  • Coordinate with integration owners and third-party systems to ensure application stability
  • Estimate effort and propose configuration and integration solutions during sprint planning
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members

Primary Skills (Must Have):

  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience
  • Strong experience in PolicyCenter configuration Rating and regional state rollouts
  • Proficiency in GOSU programming Guidewire APIs rules and processes
  • Experience in at least one end to end PolicyCenter implementation
  • Strong understanding of multi-tier application architectures
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models
  • Exposure to production support in an onsite offshore setup
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
