Primary Responsibilities


The ideal candidate will be mature, self-confident, team-spirited, and possesses strong written and spoken verbal skills. Candidates should be able to demonstrate successful multi-tasking skills and the ability to communicate effectively in speaking and writing with both systems and non-technical business representatives and clients.

In this role, your duties will include application engineering in one or more of the following:

Design and develop back end Java applications.


Education and Experience

* B.S. Computer Science or equivalent is required

* Experience in many of the following technologies:

* Java, Web Services, Messaging, Servlets, JSPs, Spring

* Demonstrated experience designing components of service oriented and event driven architectures is required

* Experience on UNIX and / or Linux platforms


Skills and Knowledge

* Java Multi-Threading

* Mature interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are required.

* Demonstrated skills with a full systems development life cycle process are required.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required

* Abilities to work independently and in a team environment, to give and receive direction to and from team members, to deal with constant change, and to participate in continual process improvement are required.
