Job description

Web Connectivity is looking to add a Junior to Mid Level Full Stack Developer who can directly impact our team and company. Web Connectivity delivers customized websites, mobile apps, and application support for our clients across the US. We provide our clients with a full suite of IT services, that include custom application development and support, custom website design, mobile app development, support, and hosting services; IT outsourcing; Content Management System product that supports specific website applications; and Helpdesk IT support. Our highly skilled team utilize the most current application development and technology approach to deliver high quality solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to assess, manage, and implement day-to-day website requests including content, assets, UI design, testing, and SEO best practices.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and test solutions to add relevant features and improve website functionality.
  • Monitor, maintain, and improve website stability, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Work in partnership with the design team to implement best practice solutions that advance and improve design and functionality of internal web properties.
  • Identify and present ideas and creative solutions to help advance the strategic direction of the team.
  • Stay up to date with web technologies, and regularly share insights related to functionality and performance with internal stakeholders.

Required Skills:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience with hands on Web Development utilizing both PHP, Laravel, Forge, and .Net technologies
  • 2 - 3 years of experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL, database administration
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in web development technologies such as HTML(5), CSS(3 and higher), HTTP(S), Ajax
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in UI/UX design, mobile-friendly/responsive web design
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude and/or Cursor.
  • Experience in Angular and/or ReactJS
  • Ability to direct application design and architecture
  • Ability to serve as a mentor and guide other developers
  • Experience with REST, JSON, XLM.
  • Experience in code migration, database change management and data management.
  • Experience with agile software development practices and techniques (Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with flexibility between tasks.
  • Experience with server configuration and administration desirable
  • Strong, creative problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough issues
  • A team player with energy and enthusiasm, and a high tolerance for change, ambiguity and urgency
  • Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner
  • Solid understanding or network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP
  • Bachelor’s degree desired

Additional duties you will be involved in our organization will include:

  • Providing support for current customers
  • Diagnosing problems communicated by clients
  • Occasionally work with network equipment, servers, and maintenance
  • Participate in Data Center Operations including Cloud based hosting
  • Training customers and orienting them on how to use the web systems we develop

Will participate in on-call rotation
