Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise applications that support high-volume, low-latency, real-time processing. The role contributes to distributed systems architecture, microservices, and modern engineering practices across the SDLC while ensuring scalability, resiliency, performance, and maintainability.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade applications for high-volume transaction processing and critical business functions.
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code using Java 17+ and modern frameworks.
  • Develop scalable distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
  • Design components, workflows, and integrations with emphasis on scalability, resiliency, performance, and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, enhance, and upgrade applications and services.
  • Participate across all SDLC phases including requirements, architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and design discussions.
  • Produce flowcharts, technical documentation, design specifications, BRDs, and SRDs.
  • Ensure adherence to security, privacy, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Promote software reuse and leverage shared platforms and services.
  • Support cross-platform interoperability and enterprise integration.
  • Design and develop REST APIs and integration services.
  • Create and optimize SQL, stored procedures, and transactions for Oracle and other RDBMS.
  • Utilize PySpark, Snowflake, and large-scale data platforms when required.
  • Support real-time and low-latency processing environments.
  • Develop verification plans and QA procedures.
  • Implement automated testing with JUnit, Cucumber, or similar tools.
  • Conduct code reviews and participate in peer reviews.
  • Review test plans, data, and results for quality and reliability.
  • Support deployments following change control processes.
  • Participate in production support, root cause analysis, incident resolution, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor application health, observability, and operations.
  • Address technical debt and implement enhancements.

Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development in enterprise environments.

  • Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
  • SQL, stored procedures, transaction management, and Oracle or other relational databases.
