Job description

Job Summary:
TRISTAR is an SBA certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned professional services company supporting the U.S. Department of Defense programs. They are seeking a skilled Threat Load Developer to enhance threat modeling and load analysis capabilities, while leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and integrate complex software systems and applications aligned to program and mission requirements.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical solutioning.
• Lead or support system integration, testing (DT), and defect resolution efforts.
• Perform advanced debugging, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with system design artifacts.
• Interface with government stakeholders, including PMAs and organizations such as NAVSEA and NAVAIR, as needed.
• Enforce secure coding standards and support compliance with RMF/CMMC requirements.
• Review code, designs, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• Experience with system integration and complex problem-solving.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
