Full Stack Developer, Junior

The Opportunity:

As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. If you're looking for the chance to not just develop software, but to help create a system that will make a difference, we need you on our team. We're looking for a developer like you with an appetite for learning and the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production ready.

This role is more than just coding. As a full stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll help make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods

  • 1+ years of experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or development stacks, including JavaScript or TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Angular, and Python

  • 1+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining

  • 1+ years of experience with data analysisand analyzing structured and unstructured data sources

  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, or software products

  • Ability to use back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience implementing AI, ML, or GenAI-based projects aligned to business needs

  • Experience with Java, Python, C#, C/C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal

  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions

  • Knowledge of microservice architectures

  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
