AI Automation & Business Analytics Intern (Rotational Program)About this position

About the role

Brio is looking for innovative, tech-savvy interns who are passionate about using AI, automation, and technology to solve real business problems. This is a 3-month rotational internship that'll provide exposure to multiple departments and allows interns to work on a variety of projects that improve business operations through analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.

Rather than supporting a single department, you'll rotate across teams where you'll identify inefficiencies, automate repetitive work, build reporting solutions, and leverage AI tools to help scale the business. If you're someone who constantly asks, "Can this be automated?", we'd love to meet you.

What you'll do

As an Analytics, AI Automation & IT Intern, you'll work on a variety of business and technology initiatives, including:

  • Design and implement AI-driven workflows that reduce manual work across the organization.
  • Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and similar platforms to accelerate development, automate processes, and improve productivity.
  • Automate recurring reports, spreadsheets, and business processes.
  • Pull, clean, analyze, and organize data from multiple systems.
  • Build scripts, workflows, and automation tools that eliminate repetitive tasks.
  • Assist with API integrations and data connections between business systems.
  • Develop or improve web scrapers and data collection tools when needed.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and reporting automation for internal teams.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and automation solutions.
  • Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend new business applications.
  • Support analytics, IT, operations, and cross‑functional projects as assigned.

Because this is a rotational program, project assignments may vary based on business priorities and organizational needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Information Systems
  • Data Analytics

  • Software Engineering
  • Or a related technical field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, lookups, and data manipulation.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar large language models to automate workflows, write code, analyze data, improve productivity, or solve business problems.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI as a daily productivity toolβ€”not just for writing, but for coding, debugging, research, documentation, and automation.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software platforms and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
