Golf Instructor
The Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is seeking a Golf Instructor to assist the Director of Instruction and Junior Golf Program Manager with continuing to elevate and grow our player development program to be the best in the country. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven professional to shape a world-class golf experience for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with growth of the Junior Golf programs by providing private lessons and conducting summer camps
  • Provide operational support during Par 3 Tour and Game of the Week
  • Assist with adult programs such as Operations 36, Scoring Clinic and golf school by teaching private lessons
  • Maintain and enhance the quality of our golf teaching facilities
  • Promote the club's golf programs and events to attract and retain members while increasing participation
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Demonstrate strong golf skills with a full understanding of the game and its etiquette
  • Possess endurance and stamina to remain on your feet for extended periods, often several hours per day, while coaching, demonstrating techniques, and teaching lessons
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment such as ball baskets, and teaching aids (typically up to 50 pounds)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, and wind

Additional Requirements:
  • PGA Membership or actively working towards membership
  • College degree is preferred
  • Certification in basic CPR, AED and First Aid preferred but will train if necessary
