A Junior Full Stack Developer is an entry-level software professional who works on both the front-end and back-end parts of web applications. They are skilled in basic programming languages and frameworks needed for creating user interfaces as well as handling server-side logic and databases. Typically, juniors work under the guidance of more experienced developers, assisting with coding, debugging, and testing tasks while gradually building their expertise. Their role often involves learning and adapting to new technologies as they gain experience in the field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a junior full stack developer?

To thrive as a Junior Full Stack Developer, you need a solid understanding of both front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar) programming, typically supported by a relevant degree or coding bootcamp experience. Job description

Paperbox is a market leader in delivering AI Agents for claims & policy admin, serving insurers and brokers.

Do you know the feeling of having to wait forever for your insurer to answer your email? That is what we are solving!

About Paperbox

We build AI agents for claims and policy administration, serving insurers, banks, brokers and expertise firms across Europe. Our agents tackle the biggest bottleneck in insurance operations: the mailroom. 100+ customers in and growing fast, we're working towards a future where nobody is put on hold.

Youll own a portfolio of 6–10+ enterprise accounts at different stages, combining deep technical work with real customer contact.

What youll actually do:

  • Lead onboarding’s from kickoff to go-live; configure and tune our agents for each customer's workflows, document types and process flows
  • Build Python integrations with customer back-office systems - REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, custom legacy stacks
  • Tune prompts, evaluate LLM output, and design agent flows for new use cases
  • Lead architecture and security conversations with customer IT teams - SAML/SSO/mTLS, data flows, privacy controls
  • Translate what you see in the field into concrete input for Engineering and Product - your portfolio is our product radar
Who you\'ll work with

You\'ll be part of a tight FDE team that shares accounts, reviews each other\'s work, and learns in the open. Onboarding is structured: you\'ll ramp on real accounts with a clear owner alongside you, not get handed ten enterprise customers on day one. If you\'re earlier in your career, you\'ll have the support to grow into full ownership; if you\'re senior, you\'ll have the room to shape how we deliver.

What we look for
  • Strong Python - you can ship production code independently
  • Comfortable with LLMs and modern agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent) - prompt engineering, evaluation, tuning
  • Experience setting up integrations - APIs, webhooks, platforms like Make or Zapier
  • You genuinely enjoy customer work - kickoffs, working sessions, conversations with customer IT teams
  • A self-directed operator - comfortable holding 6–10+ accounts in your head and planning your own delivery
  • Fluent in Dutch - your customer portfolio is mainly Dutch-speaking. English is a given.

We\'re open on seniority - junior, mid, or senior. What matters is that you can do the work, and want to do it well.
