Job description

One Federal Solution (OFS) seeks a Senior Web Developer (Subject Matter Expert - Senior) to support a potential Federal Government client. As a Senior Web Developer, you will support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of financial management web applications and reporting tools supporting financial operations and business processes.

Senior Web Developer Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications supporting financial management business processes and controls.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, implementation, operations, and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain Single Page Applications (SPA) utilizing modern frontend frameworks.
  • Design and develop middle-tier APIs and web services.
  • Design, develop, and maintain relational database models and data structures.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support application enhancements, maintenance activities, and production issues.
  • Participate in agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and code reviews.
  • Develop technical documentation and support deployment activities.
  • Work independently while supporting multiple projects and priorities.
Senior Web Developer Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience supporting software development or web application development projects.
  • Experience as a Full Stack Web Developer.
  • Strong experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, frameworks, libraries, and design best practices.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular. Vue.js experience preferred.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks.
  • Experience designing and supporting SQL databases and relational data models.
  • Experience working with Git and common code branching strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting financial management systems or financial business processes.
  • Experience supporting CGI Momentum or other commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) financial systems.
  • Experience with Oracle PL/SQL development or Oracle Database Administration.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
  • AWS certifications including Developer, Solutions Architect, or AI certifications preferred.
