Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with a background in React and Node to join our team and contribute to our mission of redefining the pharmacy experience for patients and pharmacists. You will be responsible for delivering high-value applications and services while improving yourself and those around you each day. You will have the opportunity to impact millions of lives by advancing our platform enabling barrier-free access to pharmacy services.

You will need to be strong across the stack, but especially on the back end, building secure, stable, and scalable software in a HIPAA compliant environment. A great Lead full-stack developer can articulate the rationale behind their decisions, and effectively balance priorities across technical, user, and business outcomes. You are experienced in a range of technologies and are excited to learn whatever is necessary to build a scalable SaaS solution that meets our customersโ€™ needs.

We are interested in self-motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in what is a rapidly evolving technological landscape. We need team players who can thrive in a collaborative, high-demand, performance-driven environment and are brave when faced with complex decisions under pressure.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Work with the product manager and the technical team to define the product roadmap and milestones.
  • Develop front-end components in React/Typescript and backend components in NodeJS, Kotlin, and Go.
  • Leverage Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure for Infrastructure.
  • Complete code reviews for teammates and provides feedback.
  • Communicate clearly with the team to deliver high-quality code.
  • Ensure your software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility, etc.
  • Mentor and pair with other engineers to collaborate on solutions and provide guidance where needed.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience as a full-stack software developer.
  • Experience in software development and coding in various languages (esp. Spring Java/Kotlin, Node.JS, TypeScript, GoLang, etc.).
  • Experience managing team-wide Change Control Processes utilizing GIT.
  • Experience running Peer Code Review sessions.
  • Experience utilizing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
  • Significant Micro-services architecture and development skills.
  • Experience with container-based microservices including Kubernetes.

Preferred

  • Experience with healthcare and pharmacy (preferred)
