SUMMARY

We are looking for a junior developer to join a small internal software team doing real work that matters. We are in the middle of rebuilding our company's core ERP platform from the ground up, and you would be part of that from day one. This is not a job where you maintain someone else's legacy code in a corner. You will shape features that people down the hall use every single day, and you will see the impact of your work on the production floor within weeks, not years.

We are executing a multi-year modernization of our internal platform, migrating from a legacy system to a modern .NET Core and Angular application covering job management, customer management, and shipping. We also support MenuMaker, our customer-facing design tool, and a growing set of dashboards and reporting tools that give everyone in the company a clear number to aim for. We believe if you can measure it, you can improve it.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
  • Contribute to the design, architecture, implementation, and testing of our new ERP platform
  • Build and support features in .NET Core, C#, Angular, and SQL Server
  • Support and troubleshoot existing applications in production, including MenuMaker
  • Write clean, documented, tested code and participate in code reviews
  • Bring ideas to the table. On a team this size, good ideas win regardless of seniority
  • Learn the business. You will talk directly to the people who use what you build, from prepress to shipping
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Genuine curiosity and a desire to build things well
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, ideally in C#
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate clearly, both in writing and in person
  • Willingness to ask questions, own mistakes, and improve continuously
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years of professional development experience, or strong project work
  • Experience with .NET Core, Angular, or another modern SPA framework
  • Experience with SQL Server, database design, or ORM tools like Entity Framework
  • Exposure to agile or Kanban workflows
