Position Summary

The Full Stack Software Engineer – Consulting Level will join our team in Nashville, TN. The Product & Technology Organization at HealthTrust defines and implements solutions that empower our customers, suppliers, and business partners to realize savings and drive improved clinical outcomes. If we do our jobs well, we lower costs for healthcare providers, enabling them to make care more affordable for all.

This is a Tech Lead position on the Fee's team. Responsible for a supplier-facing and user-facing portal. Written in Vue JS, C#, Azure hosted and SQL Server DB. Will be working on development that is taking data from supplier files and processing it back and fix any corrections. Will be an individual contributor doing 50% frontend and 50% backend working closely with manager and product owner. This hire will be the Technical Lead and is expected to be driving implementation of entire project. There are two other devs on the team that are mid-level so some peer review and mentorship is also part of responsibilities. UX designer and QA resource on the team as well.


Responsibilities

  • Minimize in-progress work by focusing on the most important thing
  • Work within team to create and validate architectural designs
  • Able to work on several different work flows at the same time without getting overloaded
  • Actively designs and codes in all areas of the product including the UI, middle tier, and data layer
  • Writes unit tests, integration, and functional tests ensuring product quality and robustness
  • Assists with DevSecOps responsibilities and the automated deployment capabilities of the product
  • Is a ‘go to' person for more advanced technical design patterns as well as cloud-based technologies
  • Acts as a coach and teacher to other team members participating in team growth
  • Performs daily PR reviews giving constructive advice while ensuring a sound code base
  • Understands the organization's vision and champions their execution providing value all along the way
  • May occasionally assist with support activities
  • May work closely with management acting as a technical lead over portions of the product


Requirements

  • 7-10+ years experience with full stack Microsoft .NET development experience
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies
  • 7-10+ years experience with frontend development with Vue, React or Angular
  • Solid expertise in developing modern, scalable applications
  • Strong initiative, self-motivated, and able to drive results with minimal guidance
  • Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and change
  • A professional, relaxed, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Pragmatic focus on delivering business value, with a relentless focus on creating and measuring outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to value team over individual success by focusing on collaboration and progress instead of dogma
  • Supply chain or healthcare industry experience a plus
