Job description

Job Description & Skill Requirement:
This position is for a software developer who will oversee the automation supporting the Cybersecurity team at Acuity.
The cybersecurity team utilizes various tools to ensure the security of the company and the products we deliver to our customers.
There is some automation in place surrounding these tools and numerous opportunities to extend it.
The person who takes this position will be the primary developer.
They will be taking over all the current automation and software development activities and enhance them over time.
The primary responsibilities will include:
Write efficient Node.js code for Azure Functions.
Utilize APIs of various tools to pull data for filing bugs in Azure DevOps (ADO) or notifying developers of misconfigurations.
Develop dashboards and WebApps for metrics reporting
Own the development and software capabilities; and maintenance of further automation tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
Experience:
The required experience for this role includes:
Experience with cloud platforms and services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and write code to fulfill those requirements
It would be nice to have the following experience:
Proficiency in Node.js.
Experience with MongoDB.
Strong knowledge of Azure, especially Azure Functions, Queues, and Entra ID.
Familiarity with the APIs for Aqua, Snyk, ADO, and Azure Graph.
