Job description

This person will be engaged with several teams to deliver customer facing applications in a fast-paced setting. The applications created will be used across multiple industries to provide both qualifying and continuing education for professionals. Engineering teams deliver software and features using the Agile methodology.

Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities:
  • Work with other team members (in multiple time zones across the globe)
  • Implement visually aesthetic user interfaces
  • Work with designers to create best in class user experiences
  • Create and use unit testing to ensure correct functionality
  • Work with and consume APIs to deliver data and capabilities
  • Participate in / perform code reviews
  • Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members
  • Work with GitHub as a source code repository
  • Work with the team using standard git-flow
Prior Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education – Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ experience required
  • Extensive experience in front-end development required
  • Considerable experience with Angular 5+ or latest Angular framework preferred
  • No team leadership requirements
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in creating applications using o
  • Angular 2+ (TypeScript)
  • Tailwind experience preferred, Bootstrap required if not
    • HTML
  • Strong CSS skillset
  • Strong responsive design and implementation
  • NPM
  • React experience is a plus
