What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain storefront features using Next.js 16 (App Router, Server Components, Server Actions, Cache Components, Turbopack), deployed and hosted on Vercel
  • Integrate front-end applications with Salesforce Commerce Cloud via SCAPI / Open Commerce API (OCAPI), including product, category, pricing, promotions, cart, and checkout data
  • Build and consume GraphQL and/or REST services connecting the storefront to SFCC and other commerce microservices
  • Optimize for Core Web Vitals, page performance, and SEO across a large, dynamic product catalog
  • Collaborate with UX/design, backend, and merchandising teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Write clean, tested, maintainable TypeScript/JavaScript code and participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the front-end/back-end integration layer
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and monitoring/observability practices
  • Stay current with SFCC platform updates, Next.js releases, and e-commerce best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical documentation and coding standards

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, with significant time spent on e-commerce platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (v14+, ideally v16) and React, including App Router, Server Components, and modern caching strategies (ISR, Cache Components)
  • Proven experience integrating with **Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)** - SFRA, SCAPI, OCAPI, or headless SFCC implementations
  • Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals
  • Experience with GraphQL and/or RESTful API design and consumption
  • Understanding of e-commerce domain concepts: product catalogs, pricing/promotions, cart/checkout flows, order management
  • Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (Git, npm/yarn/pnpm, Webpack/Vite, ESLint/Prettier)
  • Experience deploying and managing applications on Vercel, or equivelant (preview deployments, environment configuration, Edge/Serverless Functions, ISR revalidation)
  • Experience with headless/composable commerce architecture
  • Working knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO best practices for large-scale sites
  • Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum environment
