Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for assisting in the development, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications. Responsible for collaborating with Product Owner(s), product team members, and senior developers to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions. Responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with established coding standards and best practices. Responsible for participating in code reviews and incorporating feedback to improve code quality and performance. Responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues in existing systems and applications. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar. Familiarity with software development concepts including object-oriented programming (OOP). Hold or have the ability to acquire a government security clearance; requires U.S. citizenship. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of databases and data structures (SQL or NoSQL). Knowledge of web development frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Angular, .NET, Spring) is preferred. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, AI-assisted development tools, or modern AI capabilities in software applications.
