Sr Financial Analyst/PM Specialist Sr. This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS) A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. The Senior Financial Analyst provides advanced financial analysis and oversight in support of Army programs, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data across multiple systems. This role serves as a subject matter expert in financial execution, reconciliation, and reporting, leveraging GFEBS and related systems to support program-level decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst independently analyzes complex financial datasets, resolves discrepancies, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure audit readiness and effective financial operations. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Sr Financial Analyst: $130,000 - $145,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Sr Financial Analyst Responsibilities Include: Lead the analysis, consolidation, and reporting of large and complex financial datasets Provide advanced financial support utilizing GFEBS and other Army financial systems Review, analyze, and interpret financial documents and reports against established metrics and controls Validate commitments, obligations, and disbursements for accuracy and compliance using GFEBS ERP and BI tools Research and resolve complex Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) and Unmatched Transactions (UMTs), including coordination with DFAS for Line of Accounting (LOA) corrections Coordinate with DFAS, DCMA, Contracting Officers, and Budget Analysts to resolve cross-system discrepancies and ensure data integrity Utilize systems such as SOMARDS, MOCAS, EDA, WAWF, and SDW to research and reconcile financial and contracting actions Provide financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to support program management and leadership decision-making Support audit readiness initiatives through data validation, documentation, and process improvements Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on financial systems, processes, and reconciliation activities Support special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc financial analysis This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS) Performs other job-related duties as assigned Sr Financial Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 10+ years of experience in federal financial management or financial analysis Advanced experience analyzing and managing large financial datasets Strong hands-on experience with GFEBS (ERP and BI) for financial execution, analysis, and reporting Experience validating commitments, obligations, and disbursements for accuracy and compliance Experience researching and resolving ULOs and UMTs Experience coordinating with DFAS, DCMA, contracting officers, and budget analysts Familiarity with Army financial and contracting systems (SOMARDS, MOCAS, EDA, WAWF, SDW) Ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights to leadership Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance to start (TS) Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
