Job description

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial support for plant operations, including monthly close, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Partner with the plants to monitor performance, explain variances, and drive accountability to budget and forecasts.
  • Analyze manufacturing, supply chain, freight, and warehouse costsโ€”including production, inventory, logistics, transportation, and distributionโ€”to identify key drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes for plants, supply chain, freight, and warehouse operations.
  • Review and manage inventory performance, including excess/obsolete inventory, write offs, operational drivers, and warehouse related impacts.
  • Provide insights into cost absorption, production volumes, operational efficiency, freight utilization, and warehouse productivity.
  • Support product costing and margin analysis for existing and new products.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5 years + of experience in FP&A, Finance, or Controlling (depending on seniority)
  • Manufacturing/Plant Finance and cost accounting
  • Standard costing, cost absorption and inventory analysis
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel required; reporting tools preferred)
  • Ability to interpret complex data and effectively communicate insights.
  • Strong financial planning, budgeting and forecasting background
  • SAP or ERP systems
  • Strong business partnering, relationship-building, and collaboration skills; ability to influence without authority.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset
