Job description

PrideStaff on behalf of a client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join a growing finance team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses the analytical skills needed to streamline financial processes. 
Key Responsibilities:


  •  Help manage vendor invoices, expense tracking, and client billing as needed.
  •  Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support the CFO with daily financial operations, ad-hoc analysis, and special strategic projects.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize large datasets, identify discrepancies, and prepare financial summaries.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and update financial records within QuickBooks.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills are a must, specifically VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Knowledge of Excel macros is a major plus
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop).
