Responsibilities
The Manager's role is to provide the highest level of leadership on a significant piece of a client's business. Managers have an expertise in all digital media principles and the ability to apply these to defining, planning and executing against a client's objectives. A successful Manager must be an effective communicator and possess the ability to both work with and guide a team of account managers responsible for client service. The Manager must lead and foster a strong level of integration of PHD among all groups within the Agency.
- Account Management & Business Growth
- Execute Client level alignment and integration inclusive of Investment brief
- Achieve client sign-off on contract, timelines and deliverables
- Ensure agency and clients provide P&O team all necessary requirements for best in class programmatic planning and activation. Develop communication plan resulting in consistently delivered requirements
- Deep proficiency in all integrated PHD partners (buying platforms, data, etc.); able to plan campaigns based on partner(s) technology capability/functionality
- Developing planning objectives and strategies that are in line with the client's marketing direction while continually seeking a consumer-centric view in all strategic thinking
- Creating and maintaining solid client relationships at Strategist to Associate Director level on the client teams, including: strategy development, project management, report delivery, and client communication
- Creating and maintaining productive internal team relationships that ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Identifying and selling ideas internally ranging from campaign optimization strategies to client management
- Developing a deep understanding of a client's campaign and digital marketing business needs to service them effectively and convey their needs to internal teams and external partners
- Working closely with the Data Intelligence team to understand current campaign performance and data, mining for opportunities to deliver better performance for assigned clients
- Documenting and communicating client and campaign milestones, deliverables and decision points, either with client teams or directly with clients
- Broad understanding of the capabilities and limitations of the technologies we employ, including key DSPs(primarily DV360), SSPs, CM360, GA, YouTube, etc. Playing an integral part in new product development and enhancements with our planning and analytics team
- Meeting regularly with mid-level client counterparts and teams to review campaign performance, develop optimization recommendations and ensure campaign recommendations are implemented
- Project management of contract, timelines, and deliverables for assigned
Team Management
- Communicating with the management team on account and group status in a professional manner befitting a senior level team member
- Serve as project leader and mentoring peers along with junior members of the team
- Identifying areas to improve the knowledge or skills of more junior team members
- Leading junior Account staff as assigned, providing ongoing feedback, career coaching and direction
Communications
- Develop and present presentations and proposals that clearly state and sell ideas to clients, internal teams and strategic partners
- Deliver and communicate results and campaign milestones in a simple, succinct and compelling fashion
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
Compensation Range
$50,000-$95,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
