We are seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator to join a growing construction team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates and supporting the bidding process for electrical and infrastructure-related projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in construction estimating.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate cost estimates

  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs for labor, materials, and equipment

  • Analyze project requirements and identify cost factors impacting overall estimates

  • Solicit and evaluate pricing from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

  • Develop competitive bid strategies and evaluate alternative construction methods

  • Validate estimates using historical cost data and internal benchmarks

  • Identify and communicate project risks, assumptions, and opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal teams during pre-construction and project handoff

  • Maintain organized documentation and cost databases for future reference

  • Participate in bid reviews and support continuous improvement of estimating processes


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience

  • 2-5 years of estimating, construction, or engineering experience

  • Experience in electrical and/or underground construction is highly preferred
