Job description

Role: .Net Programmer Analyst 4

Location: Richmond 3 days onsite. FInal Interview would be in-person in Richmond. 

The .NET Developer will support the modernization of an enterprise tolling transaction platform undergoing a partial rewrite using microservices and modularization. The developer will work within an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to the development of backend services and application components using .NET Core and C#. This role collaborates with solution architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers and reports to the Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and APIs.

·       Collaborate with SQL developers to implement efficient data access patterns.

·       Contribute to modernization of the tolling platform using microservices and modular architecture.

·       Develop new application features and enhance existing functionalities.

·       Participate in performance optimization efforts across application layers.

·       Integrate with Azure-based components and cloud services.

·       Support CI/CD processes using Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.

·       Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver sprint commitments.

Required Skills

·       7+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core and C#.

·       Experience building REST APIs and microservices.

·       Experience consuming and integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.

·       Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.

·       Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.

·       Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

·       Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines such as SSIS or Databricks.

·       Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

·       Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.
