Job description

The Senior DevOps Engineer role involves managing both on-premises and cloud VM-based server environments. As Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our infrastructure scales effectively and aligns with the evolving needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in DevOps principles, as well as experience with automation and configuration management tools. This role will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of projects within our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer on-premises and cloud-based virtual machine environments.
  • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure the infrastructure supports current and future business requirements.
  • Utilize monitoring and analysis tools to collect and analyze system performance metrics and detect any problem that impact revenue-generating activities
  • Implement and oversee data quality monitoring tools to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our data pipeline.
  • Understand and assist in managing our network infrastructure, including maintaining and configuring firewalls and switches.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of infrastructure security.

Requirements

  • Experience with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficiency in managing data pipelines and implementing data quality monitoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure management, including firewalls and switches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
