Job description

Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA
Contract Term: Fulltime
This on-site role requires deep expertise in DevOps, InstallShield, and Jenkins within a regulated MedTech environment.
Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain DevOps pipelines supporting MedTech software releases.
  • Configure and manage InstallShield projects for software packaging and deployment.
  • Build and optimize Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for reliable, auditable releases.
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, and regulatory teams to meet J&J compliance standards (IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Drive automation and mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices.

Requirements
  • 6+ years in DevOps or Release Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps, InstallShield, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in a regulated industry (Healthcare, MedTech, or Pharma) is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Groovy).
