Altimeter Associates is seeking a talented Airfield Engineering Associate to join our team in Chicago, IL. You'll work collaboratively with experienced engineers to design essential infrastructure for airports across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed plans for runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield components.

  • Conduct geometric design and pavement analysis.

  • Design stormwater and utility infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with airports, airlines, the FAA, and construction management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
