About the Role:
As our Junior Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping residential design projects from concept to completion. You'll work closely with our design team, interact with clients, and take on a mix of research, drafting, and material selection work. This is a hands-on role where your contributions directly shape real spaces.
What You'll Do:
- Keep projects on track by ensuring deliverables meet timelines and building codes
- Support design meetings by gathering measurements and keeping plans current
- Assist with client presentations, logging changes and helping with live plan revisions
- Develop mood boards and support material selections and procurement
- Maintain project documentation, coordinate with vendors, and keep our design library organized
- Support marketing efforts, including photoshoots, and manage small design projects as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2+ years in architectural drafting or a related field, with solid experience in construction documentation
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD, SketchUp, or Chief Architect and MS Excel; familiarity with building codes and zoning is a plus
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Design (or equivalent, relevant work experience)
- Attributes: Strong communicator, collaborative team player, proactive problem-solver
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $45,000-$55,000 annually, based on experience

Local Travel:
This role includes occasional offsite meetings with vendors and clients to ensure every project detail comes together as planned.
