Job description

Seizmic Inc. is seeking a Junior Design & Estimating Engineer to support our Structural Support Systems team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in structural design, fabrication estimating, and custom steel projects.
You will work directly with the Design & Estimating Engineer, assisting with project estimates, material take-offs, and preliminary design layouts for platforms, mezzanines, guardrails, and other structural systems.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with cost estimates and material take-offs for custom fabrication projects
  • Review architectural and structural drawings
  • Support conceptual layouts for platforms, stairs, and structural systems
  • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and sales teams
  • Maintain vendor pricing and project documentation
