Job description

Summary

All Native Group is seeking a Junior Database Architect to support the United States Secret Service, Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), on its enterprise data analytics and modernization program. In this role you will build and maintain databases, develop analytic and data-cleaning scripts, and produce reports and dashboards that give OCFO leadership real-time insight into financial data across the Business Enterprise System.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain databases and data connections that pull from Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server sources across multiple financial systems.
  • Write and maintain automated data-cleaning and transformation scripts in the appropriate programming language.
  • Build, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or related tools.
  • Combine multiple data sources into unified visualizations and standard report templates.
  • Support the full system development life cycle, including business analysis, requirements elaboration, test plan development, and user-acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain technical and end-user documentation, and support SharePoint integration for dashboards, SOPs, and analytic products.
  • Coordinate with team members and OCFO stakeholders to resolve data issues and fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests.

Competencies

  • Experience with analytic tools such as Python, SAS, MATLAB, JavaScript, R, or Java.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or related programs.
  • Experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Two or more years of applicable work experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience

Work Environment

This job operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership. This role uses executive office equipment and classified communication systems. 

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands are typical of executive positions, with extensive travel and high-stress decision-making requirements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
