We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across a range of technologies, including Java, Salesforce, C++, NodeJS, NestJS, Angular, Spring Boot, ServiceNow, AWS, microservices architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, databases, and containerization. Asa Solution Architect, you will be responsible for not only delivering end-to-end solutions but also ensuring that the solutions adhere to both industry standards, and the specific standards followed by the agency or organization. You will verify that the solution approach is applicable, relevant, and aligned with business needs while working effectively with vendors and collaborating across cross-functional workstreams to drive success.

KeyResponsibilities:

Architecture Design& Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, andhigh-performance applications and systems using Java, C++, NodeJS, and SpringBoot. Focus on designing microservices-based architectures to enableflexibility, scalability, and ease of maintenance, ensuring solutions meettechnical and business requirements.

SolutionVerification & Standards Compliance: Ensure that the proposed solution approach is verified against industrystandards, best practices, and the specific standards followed by the agency ororganization. Review design decisions, technical choices, and ensure that theyare applicable, relevant, and compliant with applicable regulations,frameworks, and security standards.

MicroservicesArchitecture: Design, develop,and implement microservices-based solutions that break down monolithicapplications into manageable, modular components, promote scalability,resiliency, and independent deployment. Ensure that microservices are secure,efficient, and adhere to best practices.

Cloud & AWSExpertise: Architectcloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, EKS). Design and implement cloud-native solutions that prioritize availability, security, and cost efficiency.

Cloud Infrastructure Management and Automation: Experience in managing and automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure cloud resource management across multiple environments.

Salesforce & ServiceNow Integration: Leverage Salesforce and ServiceNow platforms for seamless integration and automation, optimizing customer relationship management (CRM) and IT service management (ITSM) workflows.

Monitoring Tools: Design and implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure, applications, and business processes using Dynatrace and Splunk, ensuring integration between the monitoring tools and other system components (Cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, etc.)

DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline. Implement DevOps practices to automate code deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning, ensuring they adhere to security and compliance standards.

Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerizing applications and Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS for container orchestration, enabling highly scalable and portable applications.

Database Management: Design and manage both relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB). Ensure database scalability, performance optimization, and proper integration with applications while adhering to the agency's data governance standards.

Vendor Collaboration & Relationship Management: Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure that external solutions and products integrate seamlessly with overall architecture. Evaluate vendor solutions, manage expectations, and ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.

Cross-Workstream Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, operations, and security teams, to align solutions with business objectives. Ensure seamless communication and integration across various workstreams and stakeholders.

Solution Evaluation & Improvement: Continuously evaluate the performance and efficiency of existing systems, proposing improvements and optimizations to enhance scalability, security, and user experience. Ensure solutions remain adaptable and relevant as business requirements evolve.

Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to architectural best practices. Mentor junior architects and developers.
