Job Summary:
Chenega MIOS is a company that supports large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology. They are seeking a Junior Application Developer to assist with design, configuration, testing, and documentation tasks under the guidance of senior team members to deliver application solutions that meet user and program requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Work with fellow team members and project leaders to design and develop application solutions.
• Perform software configuration and customization activities under the guidance of senior developers.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation related to application development efforts.
• Support the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, change management, and transition activities.
• Work with database administrators, quality assurance staff, system engineers, and network engineers to support data consistency, security, and privacy.
• Participate in design reviews, development activities, and team meetings as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience to include: 2+ years of hands-on experience with software application design, development, or testing activities.
• 1+ year of experience with the Appian BPM Platform.
• Background check required
Preferred:
• Experience supporting application development projects in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum based development methodologies.
• Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation.
