Overview

Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Cloud Operations and Customer Support Engineer, Jr. on a 10 year contract providing User Facing and Data Center Services supporting an Intelligence Community customer. All the personnel on the team will work together to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains, at multiple locations worldwide, to support the IC mission.

The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and maintains cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Responds to and resolves customer issues, providing top-tier technical support and customer service.
  • Collaborates with various engineering teams to support user consumption of applications in the cloud in a sophisticated enterprise environment.
  • Engages in application monitoring to assist in identifying and addressing application performance or availability issues.
  • Monitors supporting application infrastructure to help identify and report on scalability and performance issues.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation for application support procedures.
Qualifications

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.

Degree and Years of Experience: Bachelor's Degree in the IT field, related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on cloud operations and customer support.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in providing customer-focused technical support.
  • Knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, CentOS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
