Location Requirement: Onsite, hybrid or remote: WI residency required. Must be WI resident or willing to relocate within 30 days of start date at own expense.   90-100% remote but can require staff to come onsite as necessary with sufficient notice. Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. 

This position is a project manager in the Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) section supporting child support systems. Project duties will include project management/ coordination, direction, guidance and consultation of multiple projects using waterfall, agile and hybrid agile methodologies. Project duties will also include PMO support tasks such as managing action items and backlog, tracking risks and issues, preparing instructions, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, preparing and managing communication plans, assisting with process improvements, tracking resource allocation, preparing status reports, managing work plans, and serving as a liaison between business and technical partners.

Candidates must have experience with supporting application development for large complex systems (e.g. Health and Human Services, Insurance, Banking, etc.). This position also requires knowledge of and experience with systems analysis and design techniques; estimates for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation tasks; and methods used to develop, install, and maintain large complex information data systems. This position requires knowledge of and experience with project management techniques and automated project management tools used to create detailed project plans and support Program Management Office functions including Microsoft Office Suites. Requires knowledge and understanding of standard project management industry practices such as the PMI''''s framework. Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works with project team and sponsor and has experience documenting risks and developing mitigation plans. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with experience in Child Support business area and/or multi-year projects with state and federal reporting requirements

  • Testing, and Supporting User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience with sharepoint including administering access.
  • Experience working with a business customer to document requirements, analysis, and design deliverables
  • Experience with project management related to data conversion and data management.
