In this role, you will partner closely with product owners, business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to define requirements, evaluate solution options, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation. You will provide leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, helping teams navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong stakeholder management skills, making you a trusted advisor across both business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement
  • Lead requirements gathering efforts through workshops, interviews, process modeling, and stakeholder collaboration
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and solution specifications
  • Support business case development, solution evaluations, vendor assessments, and technology selection activities
  • Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization efforts with product owners and business leaders
  • Analyze complex business processes and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and customer experience
  • Manage and support enterprise applications, including configuration, workflow optimization, reporting, and user access management
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, system models, user guides, and operational procedures
  • Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and stakeholder signoff
  • Support software releases, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities across development, testing, and production environments
  • Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party technology providers
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and standards

ABOUT YOU:
Your values:
    • Integrity: You believe in doing the right thing, even when it's uncomfortable, seemingly inefficient, or costly.
    • Purposefulness: You have a desire to serve others with your skillset and an openness to continuous learning and growth.
    • Ownership: You stick to your commitments, follow up with action, and seek clarity in communication & expectations.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar technology-focused role
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise software platforms and business-critical systems
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working across Agile, Scrum, Lean, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, lead stakeholder discussions, and build consensus across diverse teams
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating solution options, and supporting vendor selection processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business impacts and recommend practical solutions
  • Advanced experience with SQL and data analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and modern application environments
  • Experience with Agile planning and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies, user acceptance testing, and production support processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience within highly regulated industries such as financial services, banking, healthcare, or insurance
  • Familiarity with application monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting SaaS, PaaS, and cloud-native technology solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Project management or business analysis certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or similar)
