OVERVIEW
The IT Intern is responsible for assisting in the development, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of new and current systems and applications as well as assisting in daily IT support functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure user satisfaction by resolving routine operational issues regarding areas of expertise or assignment, utilizing Plexus policies and procedures.
  • Utilize strong problem solving skills to resolve service desk tickets and document the process taken to each resolution.
  • Review monitoring systems, applications and business services for alerts; analyze performance data to present metrics.
  • Develop and/or update project, system and disaster recovery documentation and their supporting Stand Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Assist in the development of simple to moderate new applications to fulfill company needs.
  • Completes assigned projects to enhance, maintain and support existing software and hardware.
  • Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.
  • All GT team members are responsible for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS for the entire duration of internship.
