Union Home Mortgageโ€™s L.E.A.D Internship Programโ€™s goal is to provide a fun, interesting, and real-world environment for our interns to Learn about the industry, be Educated by Sr. Leadership and their peers, Achieve their personal goals and Develop their skills and knowledge base. We pride ourselves in providing innovative programs for our interns in order for them to learn and grow they progress through their careers. Some of the programs we offer include: shadowing, mentoring, professional development, group projects and we even take our interns on corporate outings! Our internship program gives students a chance to meet new people, gain more experience, and learn from the best in the business! Our interns are treated like full-time Partners who work 40 hours a week during the 3-month summer program, are compensated, and based out of headquarters in Strongsville, Ohio.ย 

The IT Infrastructure Intern is an entry level position designed to provide professional experience. This position includes monitoring, design, specification and maintenance of application hosting environments utilized by the organization. An IT Infrastructure Intern will have a primary focus to receive instruction and mentoring by experienced technical advisors to perform duties related to networking, system administration of hardware and operating systems, and technical processes.ย 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.ย ย 

  • System administration & support including cloud solutions AWS, Cisco Meraki and Office 365ย 

  • Remote office provisioning & connectivity support including LAN/WLAN/WANย 

  • Provide second level support for incident escalationsย ย ย 

  • Monitor assigned incidents to ensure adequate and timely resolution in accordance to service levelsย 

  • Actively participate in daily group stand up meetingsย 

  • Make recommendations to improve process efficiency and effectivenessย ย
