The Opportunity:
Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact on national security? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
As a Systems Engineer on our team, you have the chance to lead the technical development and integration of Department of Defense systems. You'll create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of systems from concept throughout the product lifecycle. You'll apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge and develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. You will work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of other junior employees.

You Have:
  • Experience with systems design, integration, and testing activities
  • Experience conducting system-level trade studies to identify and balance conflicting requirements
  • Experience decomposing complex systems or system of systems
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Lifecycle
  • Ability to convey multi-functional behaviors and architectures to clients
  • Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
