Your New Role...
CNN is seeking a Producer for its subscription service. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional editorial judgment, creative storytelling instincts and advanced video editing abilities to help create compelling content for CNN's subscription service. The Producer will be part of a fast-growing team of video professionals responsible for delivering high quality content to CNN All Access. You will pitch, write and edit short, mid form or long form content while adhering to editorial and journalistic standards.
Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Pitch and execute ideas with an eye for visual storytelling, composition, and pacing

  • Must be skilled in Premiere

  • Exhibit creative vision and a strong understanding of digital platforms

  • Skilled video editor who can manage projects end-to-end and juggle multiple projects at a time

  • Comfortable being a B-camera on shoots

  • Familiarity with video performance metrics and audience insights

  • Ensure content complies with legal, rights, and editorial standards

  • Collaborate with other producers, talent, external contributors, and production partners across the news division

  • Own pre-production coordination (logistics, bookings, clearances)

  • Assists in pre-production, production, and post-production tasks as needed

  • Contribute to culture of innovation, creativity, and editorial excellence

Qualifications & Experience...
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience of progressively complex related experience in new or related environment

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, technical production, or relevant professional work experience.

  • Strong editorial judgment with sharp story instincts

  • Strong proficiency in shaping and revising narrative structure, tone, and pacing

  • Strong collaborator who mentors junior team members

  • Proactive ideator who aligns storytelling with platform trends and goals

  • Strong understanding of news

  • Sound editorial judgment, with emerging sense of what makes a story distinct, engaging

  • Strong research skills

  • Strong writing skills for visual storytelling

  • Ability to manage timelines and stay detail-oriented across concurrent assignments

  • Clear communicator and proactive team contributor

  • Ability to work long days, weekends and holidays as deadlines warrant.

  • Fluent end-to-end editing, field shoot direction, motion graphics, platform packaging, asset management, independent publishing.

  • Expert in Adobe Premiere

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,000.00 - $143,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
