Chemist and Chemical Engineer
The Opportunity:
Perform professional engineering and scientific work involving chemical processes utilized by industries and scientific technologies to produce products and systems. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance, and review or guide activities of more junior employees.
You Have:
  • 1+ years of experience in a chemical industry or government role
  • Experience in chemistry
  • Knowledge of energetic materials
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Nice If You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience in an industry or government role
  • Experience with material processing
  • Experience in energetic formulations
  • Knowledge of weapon systems
  • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
