A junior buyer works on the purchasing decisions and processes for a company. In this job, your duties include taking different variables into account when deciding which products to put in retail outlets. As a fashion buyer, for example, you take marketing, fashion trends, and merchandising strategies into account when deciding which items to sell in your company’s stores. You usually work with management to make these decisions. In some businesses, this career could come with administration tasks as well.

What does a junior buyer do?
