PAY RANGE: $20.00 - $24.00

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and systems including programmable AC Power Source and DC Power Supplies, AC loads and DC Electronic Loads, Digital Power Meters and Automated Testing Systems for applications in LED Lighting, Led Drivers, Aerospace, Defense, Military, Automotive, Medical, Battery, Solar, Marine, and Regulatory Testing.

We’re looking for a Jr. Buyer, to work in our Foothill Ranch, California office. Applicants must have identifiable characteristics that complement the company’s core values (Customer Focus, Efficiency, Integrity, Accountability, Collaboration, and Passion). This role will be an integral part to the success of the Supply Chain Management group. This is a full-time, non-exempt, position with the opportunity to receive company benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides purchasing activities for company, from major finished good parts to small electronic
  • subcomponents, and services. Tracks and statuses incoming orders and shipments.
  • Provides multiple quotes for new purchases, and verifies delivery times and prices.
  • Ensures company procedures are followed with regard to sign-off levels, proper paperwork, etc.
  • Issues and tracks purchase orders, work with receiving to validate incoming shipment with purchase orders, and coordinates incorrect or damaged material with suppliers.
  • Support accounting team with purchasing and Purchase Order assistance
  • Good Oral and written communication skills
  • Will also be responsible for Front Desk Admin duties including but not limited to answering and directing phone calls, sorting location mail, and greeting guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MAS 100 (ERP Systems) experience a plus but general ERP experience preferred
  • 1+ years buyer/purchaser experience preferred
  • Good communicator and negotiator
  • Mandarin speaking is preferred, but not required
  • 2 years of college a plus but Bachelor’s Degree preferred, especially in Supply Chain Management or any applicable field of study.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a non-supervisory position

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

General office skills and dexterity are required. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
