Responsibilities: 


Own the environment management function to ensure our agile teams have a seamless experience to test and release their code timely, and with high quality.

Be a hands-on middleware experts to automate new environments, configuration changes and daily deployments for all R+F applications. 

Continuously adopt automation and look to improve the efficiency and scalability of the build/deploy and release operations, and drive towards the implementation of Continuous Delivery. 

Perform advanced troubleshooting and monitoring of the systems to ensure SLAs are met, with shareable metrics to measure improvements on environment management. 

Ability to work in fast paced and challenging environment, and available on-call, and/or support bi-weekly production releases. 

Collaborate, Share, help co-workers and mentor junior members of the team. 


Qualifications: 


5+ years of experience in DevOps build and/or environment automation with current hands on experience on automating environments configuration and deployments for J2EE and .NET platforms. 

4+ years of experience working with Linux and Windows 

2+ years of experience configuring supporting J2EE or .NET Middleware platforms. 

1+ years of experience using configuration automation tools, like Puppet or Chef. 

Strong proficiency in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting all of the following networking services: IIS, Apache, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs. 

Experience with version control systems, like GIT or Subversion. 

Proficient in at least one of the scripting languages, like Python, JAVA, or Unix Shell. 

A fast learner and self-starter with in-depth knowledge in latest technologies in DevOps. 

Takes ownership and has a sense of pride in their work 

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
