Job description

Sr. Azure Cloud Architect
Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support CI/CD pipelines across Azure environments.
Use Terraform to provision, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure.
Execute deployment runbooks and adjust infrastructure as needed.
Work with internal tools (e.g., Jet and Jewels) to manage deployments.
Administer core Azure services: compute, networking, storage, and identity.
Support Azure messaging systems such as Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Service Bus.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployment readiness. Required Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and automation.
Extensive experience with Terraform for building and managing complex infrastructure at scale.
Proven track record in designing and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
Expert knowledge of Azure services including compute, networking, IAM, and storage.
Strong scripting experience in Python or other languages for automation.
Ability to lead infrastructure initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive architectural decisions.
Experience with internal DevOps platforms such as Jet and Jewels or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading infrastructure modernization or DevOps transformation projects.
Hands-on experience with GitOps workflows, infrastructure testing, and policy-as-code.
Expertise in implementing security, governance, and compliance in Azure environments.
Certifications such as AZ-400, AZ-305, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
