Junior AWS Developers are entry-level professionals who work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services. They typically assist senior developers in building scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using AWS technologies. Their responsibilities may include coding, troubleshooting, deploying resources, and learning AWS best practices. Junior AWS Developers often work as part of a team and are expected to have foundational knowledge of cloud computing and basic programming skills. They also continue to develop their skills by staying updated with new AWS services and tools.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a junior AWS developer?

To thrive as a Junior AWS Developer, you need foundational programming skills (such as Python, Java, or Node.js), understanding of cloud computing concepts, and preferably an AWS Certified Developer – Associate credential. Familiarity with AWS services (like EC2, Lambda, S3), version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools is typically required.
