Mission/ResponsibilitiesOPPORTUNITY OVERVIEWResponsibilities

As a Junior Engineer at Blue Cargo, you will play a crucial role in building the platform technology and infrastructure that drives our product delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and improve functions and algorithms that drive our core audit product, even in the face of conflicting information.
  • Translate product requirements and technical designs into well-engineered, low-defect, robust code.
  • Scale/breakdown our Django application into its next evolution as a data platform.
  • Become a near-expert in the freight industry over time.
Qualifications

In addition to the following technical skills, we are looking for PROBLEM SOLVERS with an entrepreneurial mindset.

  • 1+ year of Python development experience, ideally with Django.
  • 1+ years of database modeling experience for production use cases.
  • Experience with a popular cloud provider (AWS preferred)
  • High attention to detail, being able to execute at a high level with minimal supervision
  • A relentless desire to grow technically and learn about the industry
