Job description

Junior SEO and AI SEO Associate 
About the Role 
We are looking for a Junior SEO and AI SEO Associate to support our Senior AI/SEO 
manager and grow organic search traffic and AI visibility across our lines of business. 
This role is ideal for someone early in their SEO career who already has hands-on 
experience and wants to grow their skills in a real, in-house environment.  
You will help plan, write, and optimize content, support ongoing SEO initiatives, and learn 
how organic strategy is executed at scale across our multiple brands. 
You will be involved in content creation, on-page optimization, keyword research, and 
performance analysis, with opportunities to build technical and strategic SEO skills over 
time. While this is a junior role, you will be trusted with real work and encouraged to take 
ownership as you grow. 
Key Responsibilities 
SEO and Organic Growth 
● Support and execute SEO strategies focused on increasing organic traffic 
● Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis 
● Optimize existing pages based on search intent, performance data, and SERP 
features 
● Build backlinks with new and existing partners to boost authority 
● Monitor rankings, traffic, and visibility using industry-standard SEO tools 
AI Search Visibility and AI SEO 
● Support efforts to improve brand and content visibility in AI-powered search tools 
such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and similar platforms 
● Help structure and optimize content so it is easily understood, cited, and surfaced by 
AI systems 
● Monitor changes in AI-driven search experiences and help adapt content strategies 
accordingly

Content Strategy and Writing 
● Plan, write, and optimize SEO-driven content with real user intent in mind 
● Refresh and expand existing content to improve usefulness, clarity, and topical 
authority 
● Support internal linking strategies and content clustering efforts 
Technical and Platform Support 
● Identify technical SEO issues using tools such as Screaming Frog 
● Assist with site audits, crawl analysis, and indexing issues 
● Work within a headless CMS environment, including Strapi 
● Collaborate with developers and marketing teams to implement SEO improvements 
Reporting, Analysis, and Learning 
● Use Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console to identify issues 
and opportunities 
● Track performance trends across traditional search and emerging AI surfaces 
Help test, learn, and refine SEO and AI SEO strategies over time 
Required Experience and Skills 
Required 
● Prior hands-on experience working in SEO (agency, in-house, or freelance) 
● Basic understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page SEO 
● Basic knowledge of Semrush and or Ahrefs 
● Basic knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console 
● Ability to plan, write, and optimize SEO-driven content independently 
● Strong written communication skills 
● Experience working with content management systems 
● Basic understanding of HTML and CSS 
● Comfortable using Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, and Teams for 
documentation, reporting, and collaboration 

Nice to Have 
● Technical SEO experience, including Screaming Frog 
● Experience with schema markup 
● Familiarity with AI search visibility and AI-powered search experiences 
● Experience working on large or multi-location websites
